Plain answers, up front. The AOAL token does not represent ownership of real-world assets or the project, equity, profit-sharing rights, dividends or guaranteed financial returns. It is not currently backed by real-world assets or any government, energy company or institutional investor.
Website and token
Connected, but two different things.
The registry (this website)
A public, community-built record of real-world asset information, sources and review statuses. Anyone can read it and contribute. You do not need the token to use it.
The AOAL token
A digital token that shares the AOAL name and links to this website. Holding it gives no ownership, rights or returns, and no say over what the registry records.
How they connect
They come from the same project and point to each other. They are still two different things: the registry's records do not back the token, and the token does not own the registry.
The AOAL token is not
- Ownership of any real-world asset
- Ownership of the AOAL project
- Equity or profit-sharing rights
- A right to dividends
- A guarantee of any financial return
- Backed by real-world assets today
- Backed by any government, energy company or institutional investor
AOAL is
- A new, independently developed project
- A community-driven registry of public asset information
- Open about what it has and has not verified
- Working toward a properly structured program, only if and when ready
